Headlines
0 / 15Max. 30 characters per headline. Google recommends at least 10. The pin field fixes the position (1/2/3).
Descriptions

Error check
-Six checks, ordered by frequency: at the top is the error I have corrected most often in real accounts. They are based on 238 corrections to 126 live ads from 4 accounts. The error check is based on the same table in the advert-error report.
- Write your advert and I will check it as you go.
What exactly is checked
-
1. Line ends unfinished 48% of my corrections
The line ends on a word that should be followed by more, usually a remainder cut off while shortening to the character limit.
-
2. Offer, season or year is out of date 16% of my corrections
A past year, a seasonal word outside its season or a deadline that has already passed.
This checks the dateable part of this error class. A discount without a date cannot be recognised as expired by a machine.
-
3. Superlative without evidence 8% of my corrections
You need to be able to substantiate claims of uniqueness, otherwise they should be removed.
Two ledger classes are combined: superlative without evidence and legally risky advertising claim.
-
4. ß in an advert for Switzerland 2% of my corrections
Swiss spelling does not use ß. For Germany and Austria, this is fine.
-
5. Template placeholder remains in the text 1% of my corrections
A curly bracket in the text means either a default text is applied or the placeholder appears literally in the advert.
-
6. ALL CAPS Policy check
Google policies reserve all caps for genuine abbreviations and brand names.
This does not appear as a separate class in my error statistics. The check tests a policy, not my history.
Note: this is a mechanical text check, not legal advice. Every finding means “review this”, not “this is wrong”. The percentage is the frequency of the error class in my correction history, not the hit rate of the check. Character limits are already counted above, so they are not a separate item here.

Best Practices
How to get more out of your RSA
Four rules I preach again in every Google Ads audit.
Supply 10+ headlines
Google recommends at least 10 distinct headlines. The more meaningful variations you give it, the better the algorithm can combine them — and the higher your ad strength.
Keyword in the headline
At least 2–3 headlines should contain your most important keyword. That improves relevance, Quality Score and therefore your cost per click.
Numbers & clear CTAs
Headlines with numbers ("from €49", "in 24h") and calls to action ("Request now") stand out in the search result and measurably increase click-through rate.
Don’t pin everything
Every pinned position drastically reduces the possible combinations. Only pin what has to be fixed for legal or branding reasons — the tool shows you live how much pins cut the combinations.
