What is the 3-second test?

A visitor decides in about 3 seconds whether to stay: What do you do? Where do you do it? How do I reach you? Can I trust you? The check tests exactly these four questions — plus mobile optimization and load-time signals.

What exactly gets checked?

Clickable phone number and form, clear call-to-action button, meaningful main headline, title & meta description, viewport (mobile optimization), trust signals like reviews or trade certifications, legal notice, HTTPS, plus a load-time heuristic based on page size and script count.

Does this replace a PageSpeed test?

No — the load-time rating here is a heuristic based on the HTML. You measure the real load time with PageSpeed Insights. In return, this tool checks things PageSpeed does not see: reachability, message and trust.

Why is this so important before running Google Ads?

You can run the best ads in the world — if the landing page is junk, you burn money. Every click costs; a page that does not convert turns your ad budget into a charity run for Google.

What happens to the checked URL?

The URL and the result are sent to me by email — that way I can reach out to you directly when there are critical findings; a screenshot is generated for the preview in that email (provider: microlink.io). The optional live analysis (real screenshot + load time) is something you request yourself, on click, from Google PageSpeed Insights — this sends the address from your browser to Google (USA). No public directory, no reselling of your data.

Can I get the report by email?

Yes — optionally. If you enter your email on the result, I send you the full report and add you to my mailing list (unsubscribe anytime, no reselling). If you also enable "re-check in a week", I automatically re-test the page after ~7 days and get back to you once with the result. Both are voluntary and consent-based; details in the privacy policy.
